Description:

The Material Handler within TE Medical reports to a supervisor within Supply Chain Operations and will support the operation by completing a mixture of the following tasks of which some are generic across multiple functions and some are specific to certain functions. They are responsible for ensuring that all physical tasks are recorded in the ERP system in a timely manner to ensure accurate data being always available to other departments. They will work supporting their associated value stream.

Responsibilities:

Kitting:

* Receiving, movements, storage, counting and issuing of materials

* Fully trained to all the associated procedures and work instructions, ensuring compliance to Good Documentation Practice.

Material Management:

* Responsible for material management activities include ordering, movement, storage and counting of raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods that are used or made as part of the production process within TE Medical.

* Responsible for ensuring that all raw material used in production will be notified to warehouse to ensure replenishment.

* Collection & movement of material to/from multiple departments

Warehouse:

* Receiving, movements, storage, counting and issuing of materials

* Complete all physical and administrative tasks

* Receiving activities including all PO, non-PO, and RMA receipts.

* Ensure all inventory adjustments for the area are completed in full, with the required approvals as per SOP.

* Escalate any issues that prevents them from being able to complete their tasks in a timely manner.

* Responsible for shipping activities include receiving, packing, movement, storage, counting and issuing all finished goods to the customer base of TE Medical

* Responsible for ensuring that all shipments have the required quality, customs and shipping paperwork required.

* Responsible for the management of the carrier base to ensure that they are booked to arrive on the correct day and time.

* Competent in Microsoft Office programs like word, excel & outlook.

* SAP and AS400 knowledge a plus

* Previous experience in supply chain, logistics or material handling an advantage

* Experience in lifting & handling equipment

* Experience with material replenishment
