Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.9 (72 hours per pay period) | Full Time | 1st Shift - Days (12-hour shifts)PLEASE NOTE: This is an entry level position with a typical starting range of between $15.00 to $17.00 an hour (depending years of work experience). A rate over $17.00 an hour could takeat least 5 years of very direct work experience (such as caregiver or CNA) or 10+ years of non-relevant work experience. For internal candidates: If you are currently in another role within the organization, including as a CNA, please be aware that you will most likely be looking at a pay decrease to move into this role due to the paygrade of the position.However, as a Patient Safety Monitor at Asante, you will have the opportunity to earn extra money (shift differentials) for swing, night, and weekend hours:* $1.16 extra per hour for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm.* $2.00 extra per hour for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am.* $0.99 extra per hour for working weekend hours.Position SummaryThe Patient Safety Monitor primarily assists with providing a safe environment to a specific patient through visual observation. The need for a Patient Safety Monitor is initiated and ordered by the attending physician or per hospital policy and in this role, will be responsible for providing customer service to the patient and as well as notifying the appropriate primary nurse and/or charge nurse of safety issues or concerns.Patient safety monitoring is done both in person, at the bedside, and through a virtual telehealth model. A PSM may observe up to 11 patients on virtual cameras.
