OSF productions have been presented on Broadway, internationally, and at regional, community, and high school theatres across the country. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):Cleans short and long term OSF housing units; which includes but it is not limited to scrubbing kitchens, cleaning all appliances, tiles, and grouting; laundering linens and removing stains, deep cleaning bathroom tiles, and floors.Prepares housing units for occupancy and departure; rearranging and transporting small furniture, placing required items requested in units, preparing welcome baskets and notes; unlocking doors and organizing guest access; and placing exit notes and checkout information in apartments.Repairs soft and durable goods.Assist with additional projects as assigned by the Housing Supervisor.Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA): Attends IDEA, sexual harassment, and any other anti-bias training and workshops as scheduled by the institution.Model and support the mission and values of OSF.Other Duties and Responsibilities:Ensures cleaning equipment stays in good working condition by using and storing it appropriately and reporting defects as they are discovered.Participates in weekly Company Management meetings and training sessions.Participates in any Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion training.May participate in departmental "on call" rotation (with other Company Management employees); which may include transporting individuals, unlocking doors, reporting urgent housing/maintenance needs, responding to Stage Management needs, etc.Supervision Received:Associate Director of General & Company Management and Housekeeper SupervisorSupervision Exercised:NoneQualifications & Skills: REQUIRED:Education: NoneWork Experience: One year of experience in commercial or independently contracted cleaning desired.Knowledge of proper use of cleaning supplies.Experience cleaning and maintaining wood finishes.Other Qualifications: A valid driver's license and personal vehicle. A working cell phone.Physical Ability: Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.Other Skills, Ability and/or Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make quick decisions, solve problems and remain calm during emergencies are required.Special Position Requirements: This position is required to pass and maintain a clear background check and driving record.Special Hours Requirements: Hours vary according to the needs of the department; morning availability is required. This position may at times participate in rotating emergency phone coverage, which may include evening, night and weekend hours.PREFERRED:Good computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook are strongly preferred.
