Kairo's Interval Crisis Respite house provides planned or emergency temporary care to a youth to support both youth and caregiver(s) in getting a short-term break. This unique role gives the right person a chance to give back to the community by providing and important service to underserved populations.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth with qualifying mental health diagnosis on a planned or unplanned basis
• Complete documentation related to stays
• Complete initial, annual, and monthly trainings

• A fully paid and furnished home; mortgage and utilities included
• Monthly, tax-free stipend of $2,600
• Training and 24/7 on call support
• Monthly time off

• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
• Must be willing to complete required trainings
• Must be willing to provide notes about youth in care
• Must be available for unplanned, crisis stays
• Must have a sincere desire to help youth and provide a stable and encouraging environment
