Embrace our promote-from-within philosophy and advance to an Assistant Store Manager position after successfully completing our initial 8-week training.

This role typically demands a commitment of 44 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. During the program, collaborate with store management to oversee operations of a million-dollar business. Gain leadership skills and insights into the store's development strategy while playing a crucial role in our success.

You will be instrumental in expanding our market share by engaging with large commercial customers, including painting contractors and purchasing agents, who require high-quality products in bulk.

Your job responsibilities will include:

  • Completing training aligned with established standards.
  • Supporting business strategies aimed at increasing sales and optimizing profitability.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Building and maintaining product knowledge for effective customer recommendations.
  • Fostering positive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
  • Managing store administration tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security protocols.
  • Maintaining outstanding store conditions and merchandising standards.
  • Assisting in employee training, development, and performance management.
  • Responding to and resolving customer and employee complaints.
  • Partnering with the Store Manager for outside sales calls to boost market share.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Age: Minimum eighteen (18) years old.
  • Authorization: Legally authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Driver's License: Valid and unrestricted.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required by program start date.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles.
  • At least one year of leadership experience supervising teams.
  • Experience in team-oriented environments, including work, extracurriculars, or military service.
  • Previous experience selling paint or paint-related products.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
  • Proficiency in languages, especially Spanish.
