Mercy Flights is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant!We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to support a broad range of accounting activities including general ledger review, accounts payable, payroll backup, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset management.--Key Responsibilities:Review general ledger accounts and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual adjusting journal entries and accruals in compliance with GAAPReconcile balance sheet accounts and support internal control activitiesCollaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial proceduresAssist with accounts payable including invoice coding, entry, and vendor communicationsProvide backup support for payroll processingPartner with the CFO on safeguarding assets and internal control improvements Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)Minimum 3 years of direct accounting experienceIntermediate to advanced Excel skills requiredExperience with NetSuite is a plusKnowledge of GAAP and strong analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamHigh attention to detail and excellent communication skills----How to apply: Apply online at Career Services.--This position will remain open until it is filled.--Mercy Flights is a drug free workplace and follows federal guidelines set by the United States Department of Labor to provide a safe and drug-free work environment.--Mercy Flights is an Equal Opportunity Employer----PI9073d1424b5a-25660-#######0
