If you're a veteran who thrives in high-paced, hands-on environments and enjoys tackling mechanical and electrical challenges head-on, this role is calling your name. Our client is looking for a mission-driven Field Service Technician to join their Aftermarket Service team, someone who's ready to hit the road, solve complex technical problems, and be the face of world-class service across North America and beyond.
This position is ideal for someone with a military background in electronics, mechanics, or maintenance operations-someone who understands how to think critically under pressure, document actions with precision, and communicate clearly in the field. You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing sophisticated industrial systems directly at customer sites. No two days will look the same, and you'll rely on your ability to assess and fix issues from the component level up, whether it's electrical, mechanical, or related to melting systems.
Travel is a big part of the role-up to 90% across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with occasional overseas assignments. If you enjoy staying mobile and seeing your work directly impact industries across borders, this is an exciting opportunity to do just that.
They're seeking someone with an associate's degree in electronics or equivalent experience, ideally with 3-5 years of hands-on work in electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical systems. Prior experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and computer-based diagnostics will serve you well. If you've worked with induction heating/melting or hydraulic systems, that is even better.
