We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers with at least 2 years of experience in a facility or in-home setting! As a member of the Home Instead family, you play a vital role in enhancing the lives of seniors in our community.

We currently have openings for caregivers across all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Your Responsibilities Include:

As a Caregiver, you will assist seniors in leading happier and healthier lives at home by fostering relationships and supporting them in daily activities, including personal hygiene care (bathing, toileting, etc.). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating effectively and professionally with clients.
  • Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations.
  • Treating seniors and their homes with the utmost respect.
  • Following individual care plans and delivering direct care.
  • Assisting clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting personal care needs including toileting and incontinence management.
  • Offering medication reminders and assistance.
  • Conducting light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the client's home.
  • Running errands when needed and having reliable transportation.
  • Assisting clients with walking and transfers safely.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance.
  • Availability to work weekends is essential.
  • Ability to pass a criminal and background check.
  • Preference for candidates with personal care experience (bathing, grooming, toileting).
  • Experience with transfer equipment and caregiving tasks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Alzheimer's/dementia care preferred.
  • Must be able and willing to lift up to 25 lbs.
