PurposeThe MRO Receiving and Inventory Professional is responsible for all aspects of MRO inventory in the plant including: receiving, overall storeroom operations, and inventory management.Key Responsibilities* Daily coordination of tracking, receiving, and expediting of goods and services at the plant site, and ensuring that these are delivered in a timely manner and at maximum total cost benefit* Knowledge and understanding of supplier site requirements to ensure safety and policy enforcement during supplier visits* Responsible for picking and kitting items for maintenance jobs and work orders* Champions site warehouse improvement efforts* Inspects kitted items for accuracy and keeps maintenance technicians informed of completed kits and all related details* Coordinates with Reliability MRO Manager for Item Master Entry* Validate storeroom inventory to ensure removal of obsolete parts* Electronically issues and returns all storeroom items within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and assists maintenance technicians with requisition entry* Responsible for processing of all specialty tooling in the tool room* Manage VMI areas for overages, stock outs and cleanliness* Collect barcodes for issued inventory and submit to one location daily* Maintain packaging Items, cardboard, and recycling within stores* Tracks inventory and maintains appropriate warehouse inventory levels* Warehouse inventory replenishment* Mechanical and electrical warehouses and receiving area housekeeping* Monitor all remote storeroom inventory* Assists in reconciliation of inbound invoices* Receive freight deliveries* Unloads equipment trucks as needed* Maintains a database of parts and equipment ordered* Looks for cost reductions in the form of inventory reduction or elimination* Provides excellent customer service for internal and external customers* Model company core valuesRequired Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent* Two (2) years of stockroom, inventory control, warehouse, purchasing, receiving (or a combination of all); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position* Excellent organizational skills* Forklift experience* Mechanical and mathematical aptitude* Must have demonstrated computer proficiency* Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications* MRO Inventory and warehouse experience* Associates degree in Business, Manufacturing, Production or related field* Proficient knowledge of Infor (EAM) and JD Edwards E1
