As the Assistant to the Traffic Engineer, you will support safe and efficient travel for all modes by preparing plans for capital projects, reviewing private development proposals, analyzing traffic safety, updating signal timing, presenting at public meetings, and more. This role is a technical resource within Public Works Engineering, preparing clear reports and plans, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and applying multimodal transportation fundamentals aligned with the Citys Transportation System Plan and Transportation Safety Action Plan.
