Overview

The Gainey Agency, based in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking motivated, coachable Life Insurance Consultants to join a small, growth-focused team. This remote role combines client-facing sales with ongoing policy service and offers comprehensive training, licensing support, and a clear path for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound client outreach to identify financial and life insurance needs.
• Present appropriate life insurance and related financial solutions clearly and accurately.
• Guide clients through underwriting requirements, premium options, and policy features.
• Support policy maintenance tasks, including endorsements, beneficiary updates, and basic claims assistance.
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
• Adhere to compliance, licensing, and quality standards in all client communications.
• Collaborate with the team to refine sales strategies, share best practices, and meet performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training, weekly overview sessions, and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. residency and legal authorization to work remotely from within the United States.
• At least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer-service orientation.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
• Proficiency with standard business technology (phone systems, video conferencing, CRM software) and ability to maintain accurate digital records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active life and health insurance license preferred; candidates willing to obtain required licenses are encouraged to apply (licensing assistance available).
• Previous sales, telesales, or insurance customer service experience.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and remote sales processes.
