Licensing And Standards Facilitator

PCL's Licensing, Standards & Quality (LSQ) Department has one opening for a Licensing & Standards Facilitator, based in Grants Pass, with occasional travel to other counties where PCL provides services. This position will primarily support the STCs, Residential Support Specialists, and DSPs who work with people who have co-occurring Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and Mental Health diagnoses. The Facilitator will assist all team members in connecting decision-making and documentation related to the people we support, services provided, and needs with Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) and PCL's policies and procedures. Candidates must be self-directed, highly motivated, and knowledgeable about Therap, OARs, and PCL's policies and procedures.

Position Type: 40 Hours Weekly, Full-Time, Generally 8:30 am to 5 pm, Mon - Fri, may include evenings and weekends as assigned.

• Working location is based in PCL's Grants Pass Office and will include regular out-of-office visits to the homes of people supported in all counties where PCL provides supports.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required.
• Experience Requirements: At least 6 months of Licensing & Standards Experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age when starting employment.
• Must have and show basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and attentive to detail.
• Cooperative and willing to learn.
• Ability to interpret various instructions.
• Enhanced math skills must be able to accurately balance a budget and basic math transactions.
• Professional, clear, and positive oral and written communication skills both expressive and receptive.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• PCL's Team members must have dependable, reliable, and regular work attendance, and must adhere to attendance policies.

Licensing & Standards Facilitator Job Duties:

• Ensure agency service quality standards are maintained by conducting the assigned Reviews and Quality processes, including:
• Document & Medication reviews.
• Out-of-office visits to the homes of people supported in Josephine and Jackson counties to complete safety checklists, resupply emergency preparedness kits, and perform environmental reviews as part of the quality review process.
• This role will also serve as the organization's representative for licensing reviews.
• Meet monthly with the various PCL Departments to review areas of support and help identify and resolve concerns that are not in alignment with OARs and/or PCL policies. This includes keeping detailed notes to send out after each meeting and updating the tracking of these meetings.
• Provide accurate reports on your caseload and assigned responsibilities through team participation and through all communication with LSQ leadership.
• Present effectively while engaging with adult learners, acknowledging different learning styles, such as visual and auditory.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and transfer 25 pounds minimum.
• Appropriately and efficiently responding to emergencies and/or crises.

Certifications and Training:

• Must pass required DHS background check and Protective Service Investigations.
• This position requires a valid driver's license and to be eligible to drive agency vehicles.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening for illegal substances in the state of Oregon.
• Complete and maintain all certifications as required by the position, PCL, and other governing agencies.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certification to a satisfactory level in Oregon Intervention System (training provided if hired).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR (training provided if hired).
• Complete all duties related to being a Mandatory Abuse Reporter.
• New hire orientation and on-site training must be completed within 60 days of hire.
