About The Job

FD Thomas is seeking an Estimating Coordinator for our corporate office. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our estimating department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of bids and proposals. You will be joining an established and diverse team, where you will be able to make an immediate impact. Your desire to be highly organized and detail-oriented will allow you to achieve maximum success.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the entire estimating process by organizing bid documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Prepare and maintain bid schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are complete.
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to request pricing, clarify scope, and confirm details.
  • Review and verify cost data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across proposals.
  • Assist estimators with take-offs and quantity calculations when needed.
  • Track and update project information in estimating software and internal systems.
  • Compile and format final bid packages, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Support team collaboration by facilitating meetings, distributing updates, and maintaining clear documentation.

In addition to your passion and purpose, to be successful in this Estimating Coordinator role, you will possess the following:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • 2+ years of experience as an estimating coordinator within the construction industry
  • Experience coordinating and supervising processes to provide support to the department
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology
  • Excellent communicator and collaborative team player
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible

Our salary for this role is up to $34 per hour, depending on the combination of experience and/or certification.
