What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Enter patient, client, billing, and test information into the Laboratory Information System
• Ensure accuracy throughout the process as entered information is critical to other laboratory operations
• Follow HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
• Answer and direct incoming client calls
• Cross-train in accessioning, including accurately identifying, sorting, and labeling specimens

What is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent computer skills
• Must be able to type 8,000 keystrokes/hour
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
