AND ACCOUNTABILITY - Responsible for safely operating collection equipment for the efficient and effective collection of solid waste, and delivering those materials to a designated disposal facility. Responsible for completing required administrative paperwork by use of an On-Board-Computer to maintain accurate company records and customer accounts. This Position requires you to work independently, in addition Drivers are expected to deliver excellence in customer service at all times. You may be cross trained in Automated Side Load Garbage Trucks, Front Load Garbage Trucks, and Roll Off Trucks.. Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
