Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Driver to join our clients team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trucks carrying heavy and large materials. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation:
  
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks with heavy and oversized materials.
  • Move materials to and from designated storage areas, ensuring proper placement and organization.
  • Inspect forklifts and other equipment before use, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
• Material Handling:
  
  • Accurately pick, load, and secure materials onto trucks for transportation, following company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Unload incoming shipments and verify the contents against packing lists or invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials handled, including quantities and locations.
• Safety and Compliance:
  
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in safety training and follow all protocols for the safe operation of equipment.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Operational Efficiency:
  
  • Work efficiently to meet production and shipping schedules, minimizing delays and optimizing workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervisor and other team members to coordinate tasks and resolve any issues.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and best practices in material handling.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

This is a fulltime position Monday-Friday 730am-4pm.
