Purpose of Position

The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none on each and every flight. The Pilot is the face of NetJets, providing not only technically accurate and safe transportation but also an exceptional service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely from taxi to landing per FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual, or Aircraft Operating Manual, including SOPs.
  • Offer in?flight service, including alcohol handling and catering.
  • Load and stow baggage appropriately.
  • Handle flights for owners with pets and smoking passengers.
  • Serve as the final authority on aircraft operations and safety.
  • Act as liaison for owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO to final landing.
  • Communicate maintenance abnormalities to the Company through MCC.
  • Complete related paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
  • First Class Medical Certificate

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • 1,500 flight hours total or equivalent per FAA requirements.
  • Cross?country flight >50?NM, 250 hours PIC, 100 hours night or equivalent.
  • 75 hours instrument time (actual/simulated).
  • ATP written before training start.
  • 50 hours fixed?wing multi?engine.
  • Current FAA First?Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operators Permit.
  • Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Work varying hours: days, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Manage rest to maintain readiness.
  • Duty may exceed 14 hours per day, up to 8 days, across time zones and extreme weather.
  • Able to stay in hotels during extended duty.
  • Secure airport authority and US Customs badges.
  • Pass TSA background screening.
  • Valid U.S. passport for international travel.
  • State drivers license.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Service?oriented appearance and interaction.
  • Excellent oral and written communication under pressure.
  • Quick decision?making, attention to detail.
  • Physical strength: up to 50?lb occasional, 30?lb frequent, 10?lb constant.
  • Work around animals and handle owners who smoke.

Base Salary Range

$86,015 $117,706.
