Our facility offers specialized services to adults' with Traumatic brain inquires, memory impairment and other behavioral tendencies. Part-time/On Call
Potential to grow into full-time position.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Cook supports allactivities of the Dining Services Department including the Kitchen and DiningRoom. This position is responsible for the quality of meals, delivery duringmeal service, and for compliance with special diets offered by the Community. As a Cook it is important to provide the highest quality food preparation, platepresentation, and prompt service to all residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows the approved Menu Program or approved substitution menuthat meets nutritional requirements, as directed
- Responds to resident likes and dislikes maintaining highresident satisfaction
- Ensure that all foods are prepared to satisfaction of residentsand in accordance with safe food handling practices
- All food items are stored appropriately and dated properly
- A Cook will help maintain a clean kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
