Job Description
This position is for a Field Computer Technician responsible for hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. Prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware is required.

As part of your onboarding, you will receive free certification in Dell and Lenovo.

Job Details

• This is a 1099 Contract position with variable call volume, typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of completed calls, starting at $35 per ticket.
• You will perform hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
• Pay periods are every Friday after the first week of completed tickets.
• A reliable form of transportation is essential to run these calls.
• You should have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
• Tickets are scheduled Monday through Friday. It is necessary to log into your tech portal by 9 am each workday to accept tickets, update their status, and plan your calls.
• You will be responsible for reaching out to customers to confirm a service window for onsite visits.
• Parts will be provided by the manufacturers, typically available for pickup at FedEx in the morning. You will receive shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.
