Overview

The Physician Liaison plays a vital role in strengthening relationships between our clinics and the medical community. This individual is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals (HCP) including physicians, advanced practice providers, and key healthcare decision-makers, across the assigned region. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, results-driven, and passionate about helping people access our high-quality rehab services.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours)

Location: 495 Schutt Road Ext Middletown, New York - Orange County and Rockland County.

Salary: starting at $60,000/year

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians, orthopedic practices, hospitals, and other referral sources.
  • Strategically target and engage existing and prospective referral sources in alignment with clinic goals and growth objectives, achieving minimum engagement quotas as assigned by manager.
  • Represent the company at medical offices, community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our therapy services, treatment philosophy, patient outcomes, and value proposition.
  • Monitor referral trends, identify opportunities, and provide regular updates to leadership on territory performance and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with clinic directors, marketing, and operational teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and service delivery.
  • Plan and execute educational in-services and lunch-and-learns with providers and staff to highlight clinical capabilities and patient success stories.
  • Track outreach activity and referral metrics using CRM and other designated tracking systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a clinical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in physician relations, medical sales, or healthcare business development, and/or clinical experience physical therapy, rehab, or outpatient healthcare.
  • Resident of Rockland and or Orange county preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must have a vehicle to cover assigned territory
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Experience in physician relations, medical sales, or healthcare business development, and/or clinical experience physical therapy, rehab, or outpatient healthcare preferred
