The firm prioritizes high quality work, strong collaboration, and a sustainable workload.Job DetailsWhat You Can ExpectFully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United StatesOpportunity to work on complex litigation matters across multiple defense practice areasCollaborative boutique firm environmentJob DutiesSupport 2 attorneys in insurance defense matters involving construction defectDraft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondenceAssist with discovery including document production, interrogatories, and requests for productionMaintain and organize case files and litigation databasesCoordinate filings in California state courts and federal courtsManage litigation calendars and track court deadlinesAssist with deposition preparation, expert coordination, and trial preparationPrepare exhibits, trial binders, and case summaries for hearings and trialCommunicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as neededConduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation strategyManage 1620 annual billable hoursJob RequirementsMinimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience supporting defense mattersPrior experience in insurance defense requiredStrong experience with California state court procedures and filings requiredExperience supporting complex litigation matters requiredFamiliarity with federal court filings preferredABA approved paralegal certificate strongly preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlinesExcellent written communication and attention to detailAbility to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with attorneys across multiple officesThis role is ideal for a litigation paralegal with strong California defense experience who enjoys complex casework and wants the flexibility of a fully remote position.Interested in hearing more?
