Who We Are Looking For

Solutions Architects on the IT Architecture team provide authoritative advice on web and mobile architecture and build secure member-facing digital experiences.

Qualifications

Solutions Architect I: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; seven years IT experience, including two years of technical leadership and architecture; three years designing complete systems solutions in complex environments; and strong business understanding of health insurance technologies and regulations. Preferred: experience with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), mobile platforms (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter), authentication/authorization (OAuth, SAML, SSO), and HIPAA compliance for member-facing applications.

Solutions Architect II: Bachelor's degree with advanced degree preferred; seven years IT experience, two years technical leadership, five years designing complete systems solutions in complex environments; same domain knowledge and technical experience as above.

What You Will Do

  • Design scalable, secure architecture for member authentication and authorization.
  • Lead technical strategy for web and mobile member experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Define API strategies and standards.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and monitoring strategies.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design.
  • Engage in business and information analysis, data access, archive and recovery strategies, and security.
  • Provide overall technical leadership to multiple product teams.
  • Apply reference architectures and patterns to technology solutions and services.
  • Document solutions within the EA modeling environment.
  • Participate in architecture quality review and governance.
  • Translate feedback into technical direction.
  • Mentor developers in technology implementation and transition.

Compensation

Solutions Architect I: $114K–$143K/year base; $114K–$186K full salary range; bonus target 15%.

Solutions Architect II: $140K–$175K/year base; $140K–$228K full salary range; bonus target 20%.
