Communication & Program Coordinator

Medford, OR | Full-Time | $50,000 + Benefits + 401(k)

About the Role

BBSI is hiring a Communication & Program Coordinator to support a mission-driven organization. Reporting to the President & CEO, this role manages publications, marketing, digital content, and event coordination—helping promote programs, events, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Publications

  • Manage editorial calendar and produce primary publication (11 issues/year)
  • Write, edit, and distribute newsletters and communications
  • Maintain website content

Programs & Events

  • Coordinate logistics for events (Annual Meeting, Awards Banquet, etc.)
  • Work with sponsors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Prepare promotional and post-event content
  • Support internal teams with meetings and documentation

Digital Marketing

  • Manage social media and web content calendars
  • Execute marketing campaigns
  • Track and report performance metrics

General Support

  • Assist with marketing strategy and vendor coordination
  • Provide administrative support to leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years in communications, marketing, or events
  • Strong writing, organization, and time management skills
  • Experience with social media, email marketing, and CMS
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license; light travel required
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and move throughout the workday
