Job Description

Removes groceries from carts or conveyor belt, scans items for price or places on scale to weigh, bags orders, accepts payment, and makes change. Occasionally assists customers to their vehicles with groceries and loads groceries into the vehicle. Also responsible for facing shelves, sweeping floors, or cleaning around the checkstand area.
Essential Functions

• Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs.
• Use a 10-key and perform basic math.
• Continuous standing in one area.
• Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Use of intercom or telephone.
• Pushing and pulling grocery carts.
• Stocking shelves.

• Use of box knife.
