We are looking for an individual, whether entry-level or experienced. This office is willing to train a front desk receptionist to add to their team and cross-train in the billing department. Must be able to demonstrate computer and typing skills with testing through pre-screen testing.

Excellent customer service skills are essential; being professional, friendly, and compassionate when working in the office and with patients is essential. Go-getter attitude, eager to learn, genuine care for patients' well-being, and a smiling and welcoming personality. Top candidates will need to show dedication and longevity through their resumes. Looking for a quick learner who can work at a fast pace, handle multiple tasks with constant interruptions, check patients in/out, adjust quickly to new things, have strong computer and phone skills, be dedicated and detailed, self-motivated, and make patient care a priority. Must have excellent computer skills and good typing skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, and answering any inquiries.
  • Scheduling appointments and keeping those appointments on time.
  • Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
  • Keeping a clean and calm reception area.
  • Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
  • Comforting distressed patients may range from simply fixing any appointment issues to being the voice of comfort during times of extreme stress and emergency.
  • Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
  • Insurance Authorizations.
  • Cross-train in billing.
  • Claims: Submitting, tracking, and resubmitting insurance claims to primary, secondary, and tertiary payers.
  • Data Entry: Translating healthcare services into standardized ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing.
  • Payment Processing: Posting payments from insurance companies and patients accurately.
  • Denials: Reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and correcting rejected or denied claims.
  • Communication: Interacting with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and with patients regarding account balances.

Schedule for Medford and Grants Pass:

Monday - Grants Pass office; start between 7:00-10:30am and off work between 4:30-7 pm, depending on start time.

Tuesday - Medford office; start between 7:20-10:30am and off work between 4:30-7 pm, depending on start time.

Wednesday- Grants Pass office and start between 7:00-10:30 am and off work between 4:30-7 pm depending on start time.

Thursday- Potential half day in Grants Pass or Medford starting 1-2 pm, then off 5 pm-7 ish/ or full day off

Friday: Medford office starts between 7:10-10:30 am and runs until 5-7 pm.

VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED.

Must pass criminal background checks, drug screens, and current reference checks. You must be at least 18 to apply.
