This position processes multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried US employees and contractors through ADP Workforce Now software, including calculations related to final pay, new hire pays, PTO payouts, and cost-of-living allowances. The position also assists with registering Company vehicles in coordination with the Fleet Manager through the DMV, maintaining maintenance and insurance records, and filing all reports necessary for DOT compliance.What You'll DoComplete bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried US employees and contractors.Assist with bi-weekly payroll invoicing for JV partners and other stakeholders.Assist with calculations involving final pay, new hire initial pay, PTO payouts upon termination, cost-of-living allowances, bonuses, etc.Complete registration of Company vehicles with DMV and maintain records for timely renewal.Maintain Company vehicle insurance records.Maintain Company vehicle maintenance records.Process and file DOT and other required reports including but not limited to: Monthly Weight-Mile tax reports, Quarterly IFTA returns, Annual renewal of IFTA and IRP licenses, Annual filing for Form 2290 for HVUT.Assist with out-of-pocket expense reimbursements.Assist with special projects as assigned.What You'll BringExperience with processing manual payrollExperience with ADP Workforce Now and Workforce ManagerExperience with payroll taxes and the application of payroll lawsExperience with a vehicle maintenance and registration programExperience with processing vehicles with DMVProficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)Knowledge of DOT regulations that apply to Oregon and the US.Experience working with ADP, UKGExcellent communication skills, attention to detail, meticulous record keeping.Strong customer service skills for developing and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability to aggregate and analyze information and data for effective problem solving, and to utilize sound judgement.Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.Enjoys a challenging environment, researching, and continuous learning.ExperienceMust have a minimum of a college level education with a focus in Finance, Business or AccountingFinance/AccountingDMV registrations, trip permits and vehicle maintenance recordsCompetitive market wageSupportive team environmentWe support diversity, equity, and a workplace that is free from harassment and discrimination.
