This role is a primary for Rogue and Ashland and will support other units as identified: • CNA Education (ARRMC & Ashland) • Wound Clinic • Hospice • Imaging • Heimann Cancer Center o Support; in collaboration with unit-based educators with dotted-line to NPD leadership • Transfer & Admit Center • APP Primary Care, Immediate Care • Coumadin Clinic, Cardiac Rehab • Case Management
The Nursing Professional Development Education Coordinator supports the continuous growth and competency of clinical staff through the design, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality education, training, and clinical practice. The Education Coordinator ensures staff meet the standards to deliver safe, evidenced based care and provides direction on evidence based clinical practice and workflows. The Education Coordinator also provides unit-level support by addressing specific educational needs, supporting onboarding, quality improvement, and promoting best practices. The Education Coordinator partners with nursing leaders, preceptors, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance staff readiness, meet care goals, ensure compliance, and promote alignment with Asante's mission, vision, and values.
