Set up, operate, clean, and monitor production machinery and equipment following standard operating procedures. Conduct routine inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating significant concerns to supervisors as necessary. Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, downtime, and encountered issues, and complete required documentation such as logs, inspection reports, and incident reports. Follow all safety protocols, maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas, and adhere to good housekeeping practices. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Properly handle, store, and label raw materials and finished products to maintain organization and inventory accuracy. Report to work on time, adhere to the schedule, and maintain reliable attendance. Provide support across all Medford departments, including saw operations, extrusion molding, and shipping/receiving, when not engaged in manufacturing. Assist with monthly inventory counts and stock control processes. Help train and onboard new staff members. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and foster positive relationships across departments. Communicate courteously and professionally with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive work environment. Develop and manage the production schedule, ensuring timely communication with Customer Service to align with order requirements.
