Delivery Driver WarehouseWe are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team with a local plumbing supply company!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Delivery Driver Warehouse Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Safely operate company vehicles to make scheduled deliveries.Load, unload, and secure products for transport.Verify delivery orders and obtain customer signatures when required.Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery status and schedules.Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while following all traffic and safety regulations.Assist in the warehouse with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory when not making deliveries.Delivery Driver Warehouse Qualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous delivery driving of a box truck, warehouse, and customer service experience required.Must know how to drive manual transmissionAbility to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Basic knowledge of local roads and navigation systems.Applicant may be subject to a background checkApplicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle ReportPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
