POSTINGAccurately post all purchase ordersResearch and reconcile discrepancies to ensure an accurate accounting of inventoryReview reports for inventory shortages/overages, margin control, transfers, etc.Send posting documentation to Accounts Payable on a weekly basisEnsure merchandise credits are organized by vendor/department and that they are reviewed and processed regularly to maximize creditUpon request, or in response to a correction, initiate and complete transfers of inventoryUpon request, conduct cycle counts of inventoryII. RECEIVINGElectronically receive incoming deliveries of inventoryPhysically verify all merchandise receiving against manifests/invoices to verify correct quantity has been receivedInspect condition of incoming inventory to ensure it arrives in good conditionMaintain stockroom in an orderly, organized manner for safety and efficiencyResearch and resolve inventory discrepanciesIII.
