Staff Accountant

We're seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to help maintain accurate financial records and support the day-to-day work of a finance team. This direct hire opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule and a role with a variety of accounting responsibilities.

Staff Accountant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.27 to $ 33.47 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm)

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Review financial data, investigate discrepancies, and prepare internal reports.
• Track and record incoming funds and revenue.
• Follow internal accounting controls, policies, and procedures.

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in staff accounting or a similar role.
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
