We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Shipping Associate to support the daily shipping operations of specialty medications requiring delivery to patients. This position focuses on preparing, packaging, and shipping approximately 100 medication orders per day, including temperature-sensitive medications requiring cold-chain packaging.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is dependable, organized, works efficiently, and is comfortable with physical tasks associated with shipping and inventory management. Training will be provided.

Pay Rate: $17.68 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Work Environment: Casual environment
Experience Level: Entry-Level – Training Provided

Position Overview

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum Arizona Pharmacy Training License.
• A copy of the Arizona Pharmacy Training License must be submitted along with the candidate's resume.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing shipping, stocking, and inventory-related duties.
• Able to stand for approximately half of the workday.
• Able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
• Willingness to learn and follow shipping and packaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and ship approximately 100 specialty medication packages daily.
• Package medications according to shipping requirements, including cold-chain shipments.
• Prepare temperature-sensitive packages using ice packs, gel packs, coolers, and insulated shipping materials.
• Stock and maintain refrigerators with ice and necessary supplies.
• Manage shipping inventory, including ordering, receiving, organizing, and putting away supplies.
• Ensure shipping materials are readily available to support daily operations.
• Maintain an organized and clean shipping area.
• Follow established procedures to ensure medications are packaged appropriately for delivery.
• Assist with other shipping and fulfillment duties as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand for approximately 50% of the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive packing, stocking, and shipping tasks.
