The Development & Scholarship Coordinator supports the philanthropic operations of the foundation. Embracing the vision, mission, and values of the foundation they partner with existing staff, board members and volunteers to generate resources to support health and wellness in our community.

Position Summary:
The Scholarship and Development Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and supports the work of Ashland Community Health Foundation in the following ways:  

• Embraces the vision, mission, and values of ACHF
• Generates and grants resources to support health and wellness initiatives 
• Engages with individuals, businesses, advisors, education institutions, and other community organizations to promote the work of ACHF
• Coordinates foundation scholarship programs for students pursuing degrees and certificates in health care fields
• Provides fundraising support to increase charitable giving, including gift entry and donor relationship management efforts
• Provides support to the foundation board and its committees
• Provides general administrative support to ensure a smooth operation of the foundation

Qualifications:

• Two years of development experience is required
• Bachelor`s degree is preferred
• Constituent relationship management system experience is preferred
• Experience with financial aid and scholarship management is desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products 
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively 
• Organized with high attention to detail, and excellent time management skills
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively and professionally with diverse people and communities
• A valid driver`s license and ability to travel
