This position is in White City, Oregon. The Fleet Manager must have excellent customer relations and communication skills.
The Fleet Manager is responsible for scheduling drivers, dispatching time sheets and scheduling truck maintenance. Fleet Manager will monitor driver performance ensuring company policies, including state, federal and D.O.T. laws and regulations are in compliance.
Must have CDL and current medical card
Tank endorsement preferred
Focus on safety and cost
Investigate all complaints and resolve them
Enforce rules and apply policies
Monthly Safety meetings
Ensure that all Hours of Service Regulations, D.O.T. State Regulations, and Company Safety Policies are adhered to
Ensure D.O.T. paper logs and OR E-logs are audited and correct
Ensure all tractor and trailers are inspected and recorded for D.O.T. Safety Regulations
Report and record all collisions, injuries and equipment damage
Daily audit of all fuel purchases
An understanding of all laws and requirements for D.O.T.
Must be well-organized
3 years required of Fleet Management
Must be able to adapt and learn new E-Log technology
E.O.E. Pay depending on experience. Drug testing required. 90 Day probation period.
