ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ice Rink Worker 1
Ice Rink Worker 2
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to walk, stoop, sit, and bend to provide assistance to guests. Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds. Environment includes inclement weather conditions and will require work outdoors in cold seasonal temperatures.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be minimum of 18 years old.
Pass a background check.
Act in accordance with all rules and regulations, including proper attire and appropriate communication at all times.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and evenings. Must have a combination of skills, knowledge, and training that will ensure performance of above-outlined responsibilities. Good public relation skills a must. Must be able to perform duties on the ice while skating. Will be expected to present a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Must be able to respond both mentally and physically to any first aid emergency that arises. Must be able to work safely using established procedures for facility.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES: Current First Aid card with AED OR the ability to attend a certification session and attend mandatory all-staff trainings in early November.
Additional specialized training may follow.
Ice Rink Worker 2 Requirement:
Applicants must be 18 years of age and have a valid Oregon Drivers License, clean driving record and ability to demonstrate ability to operate large ice resurfacing equipment.
